Candle Care & Safety Tips
BEFORE LIGHTING
Maintain Your Wick – Your wick should be only 1/4" long every time you light your candle.
Burn Surface - All candle jars will get hot as the candle burns. Make sure you always set your candle on a heat-resistant surface while burning.
BEST PRACTICES WHILE BURNING
Create a large melt pool – Soy wax is considered "memory wax" and will only burn enough around as per the first time you light your candle. So, make sure the first time you light your candle you don't blow it out until there is a significant melting pool diameter. If you do not, your melt pool will never go past the diameter of the first burn and can cause your candle wick to "drown" and no longer light. To accomplish this, we recommend burning your candle for a minimum of one hour during it's initial lighting.
BE CAUTIOUS
Always Burn Within Sight - Always remain within line of sight of burning candles. Make sure to extinguish candles before leaving a room. Never burn your candle for longer than a 4-hour interval.
Keep Away From Items That Can Catch Fire - Never burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire.
Keep Away From Children & Pets - Children and pets could accidentally tip the candle over.
AFTER USE
DO NOT extinguish with water.ALWAYS allow wax to harden before relighting, touching or moving.
